AHEC offers popular new continuing education courses that include current practices, norms, and skills related to mammography. Designed to keep you current in the mammography area, this course is approved for continuing education in the field. Our mammography continuing education courses cover topics like breast anatomy and physiology, optimal positioning techniques for both normal and pathologic breasts, quality control, film critique, clinical review, pathology, special procedures, imaging the augmented breast, digital imaging, digital breast tomosynthesis, and stereotactic breast biopsy procedures. These presentations, which are guided by professors, provide thorough teaching.
